3.2V-NexGen-High power Solar LED Light

The NEX-GEN solar powered LED light is a compact design where unnecessary material were removed that does not contribute the output of the LED light intensity.

Increase Efficiency Design was used to reduce the system voltage to 3.2V and to increase the output LED string volts to 40V. Common rail conversion from solar powered to direct current with a maximum power point algorithm, allows for more efficiency. Constant current LED drive topology increase the efficiency to the LED output driver.

Two 3.2V Lithium ION cell are used. The NEX-Gen. is design to be extremely efficient with solar panels up to a maximum open circuit voltage of 30V. The internal 80Wh/25Ah battery can easy be charged in full sun with the supplied mono crystalline 30W panel in 5 hours. More possibilities are now available by increasing the panel size for very shady areas.
